About the Role
Munish Forge Ltd. is looking for an experienced PPC Head to lead the Production Planning & Control function for our forging manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in production planning, scheduling, capacity planning, inventory management, and cross-functional coordination within the forging, casting, or automotive manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Production Planning & Control (PPC) department to ensure smooth production flow.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer demand and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance, and Dispatch departments.
- Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to delivery commitments.
- Optimize machine utilization, manpower allocation, and production capacity.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Track production performance through MIS reports and KPIs.
- Ensure timely material availability by coordinating with the Purchase and Stores teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce lead time.
- Lead and mentor the PPC team while ensuring process discipline.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Operations or Supply Chain will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
