Position: Sales Executive – Solar Solutions (Office Lead – Uttar Pradesh)
Location: Uttar Pradesh
Department: Sales & Business Development
Reporting To: Management / Director
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive who will not only drive solar sales but also act as the core operational person for our Uttar Pradesh office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating business, managing client relationships, and supporting overall office operations to ensure smooth functioning and growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Identifying and generating new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and direct client engagement.
- Conducting site visits and client assessments to evaluate solar feasibility and provide accurate technical inputs.
- Presenting customized solar solutions, proposals, and cost estimations to clients.
- Achieving and exceeding assigned sales targets, with a monthly target of 125 kW and an annual target of 1500 kW.
- Managing the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure and post-sales follow-up.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for the Uttar Pradesh office, ensuring coordination between clients, vendors, and the head office.
- Supporting project execution teams by coordinating site requirements, documentation, and timelines.
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline updates.
- Preparing regular sales reports and performance updates for management review.
- Representing the company in local meetings, exhibitions, and networking events to enhance brand presence.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly sales target achievement (125 kW minimum)
- Annual sales target (1500 kW)

Required Qualifications
- MBA (preferred) in Sales, Marketing, or Operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering(Preferred), or related field
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1.5 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably in solar, renewable energy, electrical, or infrastructure sectors
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Required Skills
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
- Good understanding of solar energy systems and basic technical concepts
- Ability to handle client discussions and technical presentations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage office-level responsibilities
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits
Preferred Skills
- Experience in solar project sales or EPC environment
- Knowledge of net metering policies and government approvals
- Familiarity with local market conditions in Uttar Pradesh
- Basic understanding of project execution and coordination
