We are looking for a proactive and experienced Die Casting Production Shift Supervisor to oversee daily production operations and ensure smooth shop-floor activities during the assigned shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining quality standards, ensuring workplace safety, and leading a team to maximize productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and monitor die-casting production activities to achieve daily production goals.
- Lead and guide production operators, ensuring efficient manpower utilization.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the maintenance team to reduce downtime.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Implement and maintain safety procedures, housekeeping, and 5S practices on the shop floor.
- Analyze production issues and take corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce rejection rates.
- Maintain accurate production reports, shift handover records, and daily performance data.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Stores departments to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Train and mentor operators on production processes, quality requirements, and safety practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational excellence.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in a Die Casting Manufacturing environment is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of die-casting processes, production planning, and shop-floor management.
- Ability to lead teams, solve production issues, and work under target-driven environments.
- Good communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
