Rainwater Harvesting Site Engineer
Role Overview
A Rainwater Harvesting Site Engineer is responsible for the design implementation, execution,
supervision, and maintenance of rainwater harvesting systems including recharge wells, filtration
units, storage tanks, and drainage networks to ensure effective water conservation and groundwater
recharge.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise installation of recharge wells, borewells, and filtration systems
· Ensure proper execution of RWH structures as per design drawings
· Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments
· Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants
· Monitor quality of materials and workmanship
· Ensure compliance with municipal regulations and environmental norms
· Maintain daily progress reports and documentation
· Troubleshoot issues related to clogging, filtration efficiency, and water flow
· Oversee testing and commissioning of RWH systems
Technical Skills
· Knowledge of hydrology and groundwater recharge techniques
· Familiarity with filtration media (sand, gravel, charcoal, etc.)
· Understanding of drainage systems and piping layouts
· Ability to read engineering drawings and BOQs
· Basic knowledge of AutoCAD / Excel for reporting
Educational Qualification
· Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
Experience
· 2–5 years experience in:
· Rainwater harvesting projects
· Water management systems
· Construction site execution

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
