JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for manufacturing, assembling, fitting, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of injection moulds, PET blow moulds, and EBM moulds used in plastic packaging production.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manufacture mould components as per approved drawings.
- Operate and supervise CNC Milling, VMC, Lathe, Surface Grinding, EDM, Wire Cut EDM, and Polishing processes.
- Assemble and fit moulds for trial and production.
- Conduct mould trials and implement corrections.
- Repair and maintain existing moulds to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance and maintain maintenance records.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of mould components.
- Coordinate with mould designers for modifications and improvements.
- Support production during mould breakdowns and troubleshooting.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Strong understanding of mould assembly, fitting, polishing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in PET preform moulds, cap moulds, closure moulds, PET blow moulds, and EBM moulds.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Hands-on experience with tool room machinery.
- Knowledge of mould steels, heat treatment, and surface finishes.
EDUCATION:
ITI Tool & Die Maker / Diploma Mechanical / Tool Engineering.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
