About the Role :
Under the Yonex Sunrise CSR Initiative – Sunrise Saksham Project, with us Suma Blessings Foundation as the implementing partner, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Trainer – Stringing & Retail Store Marketing Skills to deliver practical and industry-oriented training to youth and job seekers.
The trainer will be responsible for developing participants' skills in stringing, retail store operations, customer service, sales techniques, digital marketing, and workplace readiness to enhance their employability and entrepreneurship opportunities. As part of the Sunrise Saksham Project, the training will be provided free of cost, supporting the vision of empowering individuals with sports industry-relevant skills, sustainable livelihood opportunities, greater economic self-reliance and can fulfill the dream of a career in sports but couldn't pursue it, this program can help who build specialized skills and connect with emerging opportunities in the sports industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Delivery :
- Conduct classroom and practical training sessions on Retail Store Management and Marketing Skills.
- Deliver modules on customer service, sales techniques, merchandising, inventory management, billing processes, and store operations.
- Train participants on marketing fundamentals, branding, promotions, and customer engagement strategies.
- Introduce trainees to digital marketing concepts including social media marketing, content creation, and online promotions.
- Facilitate role plays, group activities, and practical assignments.
Skill Development & Assessment :
- Evaluate trainees through assignments, practical exercises, and assessments.
- Provide individual coaching and mentoring to improve performance.
- Identify learning gaps and implement corrective training interventions.
- Support trainees in developing professional communication and workplace behavior.
Curriculum & Content Management:
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, and training materials.
- Update training content based on current retail and marketing industry trends.
- Develop practical case studies and real-world examples for effective learning.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain trainee attendance, assessment records, and progress reports.
- Submit weekly and monthly training reports to management.
- Track trainee performance and certification status.
Placement & Industry Engagement
- Support trainees in interview preparation and job readiness.
- Coordinate with employers, retail stores, and industry partners for placements.
- Assist in organizing guest lectures, workshops, and industry visits.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Marketing, Retail Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
- Professional certifications in Retail Management, Sales, Marketing, or Digital Marketing will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of retail store operations and sales processes.
- Understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct engaging training sessions.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and online training tools.
- Strong mentoring and interpersonal skills.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Retail, Sales, Marketing, Training, or Skill Development.
- Experience in vocational training, livelihood programs, or NGO sector will be preferred.

- Number of training sessions conducted.
- Trainee attendance and completion rates.
- Assessment and certification success rates.
- Placement and employment outcomes.
- Quality and timely submission of reports.

Compensation
