Job Summary: We are seeking a Production Engineer (Electronic Board Test Engineer) responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring the quality of electronic assemblies and PCB boards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in executing test procedures, identifying issues at the board and component level, and supporting continuous improvement in the production process.
- Perform functional and in-circuit testing (ICT) of assembled electronic boards (PCBs).
- Troubleshoot and analyze defective boards to identify root causes (component-level and circuit-level).
- Prepare and maintain test procedures, checklists, and quality records.
- Work closely with the R&D and production teams to resolve technical issues and implement design-for-test (DFT) improvements.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing and validating test setups and jigs.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with production and quality standards.
- Assist in calibration and maintenance of test equipment and instruments.
- Identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements for better yield and efficiency.
- Train technicians and operators on test processes and quality inspection techniques.
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics field.
- 2–5 years of experience in PCB assembly testing or electronics production environment.
- Strong understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
- Hands-on experience with test instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies.
- Familiarity with ESD handling, soldering/rework practices, and PCB schematics reading.
- Experience in using automated test equipment (ATE) or functional test jigs is an added advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- B.E. / B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in PCB assembly testing or electronics production environment.
- Knowledge of microcontroller-based board testing and firmware flashing.
- Strong understanding of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
- Hands-on experience with test instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies.
- Familiarity with ESD handling, soldering/rework practices, and PCB schematics reading.
