We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager who can lead project execution, coordinate development teams, communicate with clients, and ensure successful delivery of software projects.
Role Overview
As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering web and software development projects. You will act as the bridge between clients, developers, designers, and company leadership while ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to quality standards.
You will also help build and scale project teams as Maxwell continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage website, software, and application development projects from start to finish.
- Gather project requirements and convert them into actionable tasks.
- Create project timelines, milestones, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with developers, designers, QA engineers, and clients.
- Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met.
- Conduct project planning meetings and daily/weekly team follow-ups.
- Manage project documentation, task allocation, and reporting.
- Identify project risks and proactively resolve issues.
- Ensure high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
- Assist in hiring and building technical teams based on project requirements.
- Improve internal workflows and project management processes.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience managing web development and software projects.
- Familiarity with technologies such as WordPress, React, Node.js, PHP, Laravel, Python, Mobile Apps, APIs, or similar platforms.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Trello, Asana, or Monday.com.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, IT Project Manager, Team Lead, Scrum Master, or Delivery Manager.
- Proven track record of delivering software projects successfully.
- Experience managing remote and in-house development teams.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical background in software development.
- Experience leading teams of developers and designers.
- Experience with client-facing project management.
- Knowledge of software estimation and resource planning.
