Responsibilities include teaching sports techniques, structuring active classes, ensuring safety, assessing student performance, and coordinating extracurricular sports programs.
- Extracurricular Involvement: Organize, coach, and manage school sports teams, intramural sports, and special events.
- Health Education: Instruct students on nutrition, personal hygiene, and long-term health benefits.
- Collaboration: Communicate with parents, colleagues, and staff regarding student development and overall well-being
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field, often requiring state-specific teacher licensure.
- Certification: Valid teaching certification/license
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, patience, and ability to foster teamwork and sportsmanship.
- Physical Ability: Ability to demonstrate various physical techniques and activities.
