Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Draughtsman with experience in static equipment drafting. The role involves preparing accurate engineering drawings, supporting manufacturing requirements, and ensuring timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA) and fabrication drawings for:
- Heat Exchangers
- Pressure Vessels
- Columns
- Storage Tanks
- Develop and verify Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
- Interpret Design Data Sheets and Mechanical Data Sheets
- Generate accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for manufacturing
- Deliver drawings within defined project timelines
- Maintain document control and distribution records
- Understand client requirements and incorporate them into drawings
- Prepare:
- Assembly drawings
- Manufacturing drawings
- Part/detail drawings
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Qualification: I.T.I Mechanical Draughtsman
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of:
- Pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks
- Fabrication drawings and pressure parts
- Good understanding of 2D drawings and detailing standards
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Oil & Gas / Chemical / Process industries
- Familiarity with ASME, TEMA, and API standards
- Good communication and coordination skills
