Job Summary
The Transit & Packaging Testing Executive will be responsible for conducting packaging performance and transit tests to evaluate the durability, safety, and compliance of packaging materials and finished products. The role involves performing standardized testing procedures, maintaining test records, coordinating with internal teams and clients, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct transit and packaging tests as per ASTM, ISTA, ISO, BIS, and client-specific standards.
- Perform tests such as: Drop Test, Compression Test, Vibration Test, Incline Impact Test etc.
- Prepare test samples and ensure proper test setup and calibration of equipment.
- Record, analyze, and maintain accurate test data and reports.
- Coordinate with clients/internal stakeholders regarding testing schedules and results.
- Ensure laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated as per schedule.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures and quality management systems.
- The above mentioned duties does not limit here.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Packaging Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Quality, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience with relevant testing/laboratory experience may apply.
- Knowledge of packaging materials and transit testing standards.
- Familiarity with ASTM, ISTA, ISO, and BIS standards.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word, reporting).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Experience in packaging testing laboratory or quality testing environment.
- Exposure to transit simulation testing equipment and instruments.
- Compliance and safety awareness
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
