Machine Operator Trainee – Laser & Turret Punch
Job Summary
SRG Power Control System is looking for enthusiastic and hardworking candidates to join as Machine Operator Trainees for Laser Cutting and Turret Punch operations. The selected candidates will be trained in operating CNC Laser Cutting Machines and Turret Punch Machines used in electrical panel enclosure manufacturing.

Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation
- Assist in operating CNC Laser Cutting and Turret Punch Machines.
- Load and unload sheet metal materials.
- Support machine setup activities under supervision.
- Monitor machine operations and report abnormalities.
Production Activities
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per schedule.
- Check cut and punched components for dimensional accuracy.
- Sort and identify finished parts as per drawings.
- Support material handling and movement activities.
Quality & Inspection
- Perform basic visual inspection of manufactured components.
- Ensure components meet drawing specifications.
- Report defects and quality issues immediately.
Maintenance & Housekeeping
- Maintain cleanliness around the machine and work area.
- Assist in routine machine maintenance activities.
- Follow machine operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Safety Compliance
- Use PPE (Safety Shoes, Gloves, Goggles, etc.).
- Follow company safety regulations.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
Qualification
- ITI (Fitter, Turner, Machinist, Sheet Metal Worker)
- Diploma (Mechanical Engineering)
- 10th / 12th Pass with technical aptitude may also apply.
Experience
- Freshers Preferred.
- 0–2 years experience in fabrication, sheet metal, laser cutting, turret punch, CNC machine operation, or manufacturing industries.
