The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance to lead our Finance function in India, manage the growing Finance Shared Services supporting the UK business, and drive future finance operations for global entities.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Lead and expand the Finance Shared Services function between Kolkata and London, with future support for Hong Kong & Chicago.
✅ Oversee:
Treasury & Cash Management
Month-End Close & Financial Reporting
Group Consolidation
Management Reporting
Budgeting & Forecasting
Accounts Payable & Employee Expenses
VAT & Regulatory (FCA) Reporting
Cost Control
IFRS Accounting Policies
Statutory Audit & Financial Statements
Take complete ownership of Finance operations for the India entity.
Lead, mentor, recruit, and develop the Finance team through performance management, succession planning, and training.
Drive automation, process improvements, documentation, governance, operational excellence, and finance transformation initiatives.
Ensure compliance with IFRS, accounting standards, taxation, financial regulations, and internal controls.
Collaborate closely with UK leadership, provide accurate financial reporting, manage stakeholders across geographies, and support strategic business growth.
**Occasional international travel** to London and other global offices may be required.
We're Looking For
✔ Qualified CA with 15–18 years of post-qualification experience.
✔ Strong expertise in:

Budgeting & Forecasting
IFRS
Regulatory Reporting
Risk Management
Audit
Taxation
Cost Control
✔ Proven leadership experience in building and managing high-performing finance teams.
✔ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
✔ Experience working in regulated financial services organizations and global matrix environments will be highly preferred.
