Job Summary
The Recruiter will be responsible for managing the complete recruitment lifecycle, from manpower requisition to employee onboarding. The role includes sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, coordinating hiring activities, managing documentation, facilitating onboarding, and ensuring background verification compliance. The Recruiter will work closely with department heads to attract and hire qualified talent while maintaining a positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Hiring
- Understand manpower requirements from department heads.
- Prepare and publish job advertisements on job portals, social media, company websites, and professional networks.
- Source candidates through:
- Job portals (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Employee referrals
- Recruitment agencies
- Screen resumes and shortlist suitable candidates.
- Conduct HR screening interviews.
- Schedule and coordinate technical and managerial interviews.
- Maintain candidate databases and recruitment trackers.
- Negotiate salary and employment terms within approved guidelines.
- Issue offer letters and employment contracts.
2. Candidate Assessment & Selection
- Evaluate candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Verify candidate information during the selection process.
- Conduct reference checks where required.
- Coordinate assessment tests and evaluation exercises.
- Ensure fair and unbiased hiring practices.
3. Background Verification (BGV)
- Initiate and coordinate background verification processes.
- Verify:
- Employment history
- Identity documents
- Professional references
- Track verification status and maintain records.
- Escalate discrepancies to HR management.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with applicable data privacy regulations.
4. Employee Onboarding
- Coordinate joining formalities.
- Prepare onboarding checklists and documentation.
- Issue appointment letters and collect signed acknowledgements.
- Coordinate with IT, Administration, and Department Heads for:
- System access
- Email creation
- ID cards
- Workstation allocation
- Conduct employee induction and orientation sessions.
- Introduce company policies, code of conduct, and organizational structure.
- Ensure completion of probation-related documentation.
5. HR Coordination & Compliance
- Maintain recruitment records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
- Support audits related to recruitment and employee records.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and candidate information.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
Experience
Recruiter
- 1–3 years of recruitment experience.
Senior Recruiter
- 3–6 years of recruitment and talent acquisition experience.

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
