Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Service Engineer to support Service Center Operations and Quality Assurance. The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering and possess strong hands-on experience in tool servicing, inspection, and quality control. The role requires ensuring that all serviced tools strictly adhere to defined SOPs and OEM standards before release.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform servicing, repair, and maintenance activities for specialized tools in line with approved SOPs and OEM standards.
Conduct final inspection and quality checks on serviced tools before release.
Read, understand, and interpret tool assembly drawings to support assembly, disassembly, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
Operate SAP for service tracking, service orders, spare parts management, stock transfers, and record maintenance.
Monitor daily service center activities to ensure efficient workflow and process compliance.
Identify gaps in service processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
Support adherence to documentation, traceability, and quality standards across all service activities. Preferred Attributes
Prior experience in a tool servicing, mechanical assembly, or industrial service center environment.
Exposure to OEM-driven service and quality processes.
Strong attention to detail and accountability in technical execution.
Should be able to read and write English, converse in Hindi.
Key Qualifications:
Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Strong technical understanding of mechanical tools, assemblies, and service procedures.
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and technical documents.
Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in mechanical operations, manufacturing, or a technical service center environment.
Hands-on experience in servicing, inspection, and testing of mechanical tools or assemblies.
Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and final inspection standards.
Working knowledge of SAP; experience with SAP manufacturing or service-related modules will be preferred.
Ability to maintain service records, inventory updates, and stock transfer data accurately.
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on process discipline, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
