Job Description:
Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors to meet organizational needs.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and conditions to secure the best value for the company.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships.
Track procurement spending and ensure adherence to budgetary limits.
Implement strategic sourcing and bulk purchasing strategies to reduce costs.
Coordinate just-in-time deliveries to minimize storage costs and optimize inventory.
Ensure all purchased goods and services meet company standards and specifications.
Address supplier non-compliance or performance issues promptly and effectively.
Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, ethical standards, and legal regulations.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier correspondence.
Comply with audit requirements and management review protocols.
Collaborate with finance, production, logistics, and other departments to align purchasing with overall operations.
Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain.
Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements in procurement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or Supply Chain.
2–4 years of experience in procurement/purchasing.
Strong vendor evaluation, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
