We are seeking a qualified Site Engineer to oversee day-to-day execution at our construction sites. The role centers on translating architectural and structural drawings into accurate work on the ground, maintaining quality and pace, and acting as the primary link between the site and the architect’s office. It suits an engineer who is comfortable making decisions on site and who understands that the job is done standing on the slab, not at a desk.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute construction work strictly in accordance with approved architectural, structural, and services drawings
- Set out and mark levels, lines, and dimensions; verify that work in progress matches drawing specifications
- Coordinate with the architect’s office, structural consultants, and other consultants on drawing revisions, RFIs, and site queries; ensure the latest revisions are in use on site
- Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site labour to meet daily and weekly targets
- Monitor construction quality and enforce specified materials, mix designs, and workmanship standards
- Maintain daily progress reports, labour and material records, and site documentation
- Estimate and track material requirements; coordinate procurement and deliveries to avoid site stoppages
- Check and certify contractor measurements and bills against work actually completed
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain good housekeeping on site
- Identify and escalate site constraints, drawing discrepancies, and delays to management promptly
Requirements
- [B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma] in Civil Engineering
- Hands-on site experience in building construction; prior experience in [residential / commercial / high-rise] projects preferred
- Demonstrated ability to read and execute architectural and structural drawings independently
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD; familiarity with [MS Project / Excel] for progress tracking
- Sound understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality standards
- Experience in contractor coordination and billing verification
- Strong communication skills for liaising with consultants and site teams
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
