Service Advisor
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department.
- Greet customers, listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document service requests.
- Provide technical explanations in simple terms and recommend appropriate services or repairs.
- Prepare job cards and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely service.
- Communicate service progress, costs, and completion timelines to customers.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure satisfaction with service quality.
- Promote additional services, accessories, or maintenance packages when appropriate.
- Maintain records of customer interactions and service history.
Skills Required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic technical knowledge of vehicles (two-wheelers or four-wheelers depending on the workshop).
- Ability to explain complex mechanical issues in customer-friendly language.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple service requests.
- Customer service orientation and problem-solving ability.
- Computer literacy for service management software.
Eligibility
- Minimum qualification: Diploma/ITI in Automobile Engineering or equivalent.
- Prior experience in customer service or automotive workshops preferred.
- Freshers with strong communication skills may be considered for trainee roles.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
