Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts and drive business growth. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing sales strategies, acquiring new customers, managing relationships with partners, and achieving revenue targets. The role requires strong leadership, business development skills, and the ability to build and manage a small sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the company’s customer base.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Build relationships with partners, agents, and referral channels.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations with potential clients.
Team Management
- Recruit, train, and manage a small sales team.
- Set individual targets and monitor team performance.
- Provide guidance and support to improve sales productivity.
- Ensure regular reporting of sales activities and results.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and partners.
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Handle key client relationships and negotiate business terms.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Coordination & Operations
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
- Ensure proper documentation and process compliance.
- Monitor the sales pipeline and track progress of deals.
Market Development
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market insights to management.
- Suggest improvements to products, pricing, or sales strategies.
Requirements
- Experience: 1-2 years in sales or business development.
- Prior experience managing or mentoring a sales team is preferred.
- Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- MBA or relevant certification is a plus
