About the Role
Oxymed Hospital is looking for a dedicated and skilled Cardiac Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team. As a pioneer in non-invasive cardiac care, we are committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered treatment that improves quality of life. In this role, you will work closely with our cardiologists and clinical team to provide comprehensive cardiac care, support patient management, and contribute to delivering exceptional healthcare outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and routine monitoring of vital signs.
- Order, assist with, and interpret diagnostic investigations such as ECGs, Echocardiograms, Treadmill Tests (TMT), and vascular flow studies under clinical guidance.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and the multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and review individualized treatment plans.
- Assist in the management of patients with chronic cardiovascular conditions and support non-invasive cardiac therapies and procedures.
- Educate patients and their families on heart health, lifestyle modifications, disease prevention, medication adherence, and recovery plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the hospital's electronic medical records (EMR) system while ensuring compliance with established clinical protocols and standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from a recognized institution. A minimum of two years of clinical experience in cardiology, cardiac rehabilitation, or critical care is preferred. Current Physician Assistant registration and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification will be an added advantage.
Applicants should have a strong understanding of cardiovascular physiology, cardiac diseases, diagnostic procedures, and cardiac pharmacology. Excellent communication skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team are essential.
Salary
₹12,000 – ₹18,000 per month (based on qualifications and experience)
