Job purpose
Lead the strategy, design, and implementation of enterprise Salesforce CRM solutions that support institutional and intermediary business lines. The role focuses on driving CRM convergence, enabling seamless data integration across enterprise systems, and establishing scalable architecture and governance frameworks. The objective is to create a unified client view, enhance sales effectiveness, and align CRM capabilities with broader distribution data ecosystems.
Key responsibilities
- Salesforce CRM Strategy & Implementation
oLead large-scale Salesforce CRM implementations and enhancements across institutional and intermediary business units.
oDefine and execute CRM transformation initiatives, including platform consolidation and capability expansion.
oEnsure alignment of Salesforce solutions with business objectives, sales processes, and client engagement strategies.
- 2. CRM Convergence & Data Migration
oDrive CRM convergence initiatives to unify multiple legacy systems into a centralized Salesforce environment.
oOversee end-to-end data migration activities, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
oEnsure high data quality, consistency, and integrity across all CRM datasets.
- 3. Client Data Model & Hierarchy Management
oDesign and optimize client and account hierarchies to reflect complex institutional and intermediary relationships.
oDevelop scalable data models supporting households, financial advisors, distributors, and organizational structures.
oEnable a 360-degree client view to improve segmentation, coverage, and relationship management.
- 4. Enterprise Integration Architecture
oDefine and implement integration architecture between Salesforce and upstream/downstream systems such as data warehouses, distribution platforms, and reporting tools.
oCollaborate with engineering teams on API-based integrations, middleware solutions, and real-time/batch data pipelines.
oEnsure seamless data flow across CRM, analytics, and enterprise data platforms.
- 5. Governance, Risk & Compliance
oEstablish CRM governance frameworks, including data standards, access controls, and change management processes.
oEnsure adherence to enterprise data governance policies, regulatory requirements, and audit controls.
oMonitor system performance, data accuracy, and user adoption metrics.
- 6. Stakeholder Collaboration & Delivery
oPartner with business stakeholders, sales teams, product owners, and technology teams to gather requirements and prioritize initiatives.
oAct as a bridge between business and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
oLead cross-functional delivery teams and ensure successful execution of CRM and integration programs.
- 7. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
oIdentify opportunities to leverage Salesforce capabilities (e.g., automation, analytics, AI-driven insights) to enhance sales productivity and client engagement.
oStay current with Salesforce ecosystem advancements and integrate new features where relevant.
oDrive continuous improvement in data processes, reporting capabilities, and user experience.
Key competencies
Essential skills
- Strong experience in Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Financial Services Cloud) implementation and architecture
- Expertise in CRM data migration, data modeling, and client hierarchy design
- Proven experience in enterprise integration architecture (APIs, middleware, ETL processes)
- Deep understanding of data governance, data quality, and data management practices
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (business, product, engineering, analytics)
- Knowledge of financial services domain, especially institutional and intermediary distribution models
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience in large-scale transformation programs and CRM convergence initiatives
Nice to Have
- Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) or similar industry-specific solutions
- Familiarity with data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or enterprise data lakes
- Knowledge of BI/analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, CRM Analytics)
- Exposure to middleware tools (MuleSoft or similar integration platforms)
- Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices
- Certifications such as Salesforce Certified Architect / Administrator / Platform Developer
- Experience with AI/automation features within Salesforce (Einstein Analytics, workflow automation)
