Role: WordPress & Shopify Developer
We are looking for an experienced WordPress & Shopify Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience building modern, responsive, and high-performing websites.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working directly from Figma designs and converting them into pixel-accurate WordPress and Shopify websites. You should have a strong understanding of responsive development, page builders, Shopify themes, custom CSS, and website performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert Figma designs into fully functional, responsive WordPress and Shopify websites.
- Build websites with close attention to pixel-perfect design implementation.
- Develop WordPress websites using Elementor Pro and other modern page builders.
- Develop and customize Shopify stores using Shopify themes and Liquid.
- Create custom sections, templates, and reusable components in Shopify.
- Customize WordPress themes, templates, and plugins according to project requirements.
- Ensure designs work properly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Implement landing pages, product pages, collection pages, sales pages, and other marketing pages.
- Work with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Liquid, and basic PHP.
- Handle Shopify metafields, product templates, collections, navigation, and app integrations.
- Handle WordPress plugins, forms, custom post types, and third-party integrations.
- Optimize websites for Core Web Vitals, page speed, and overall performance.
- Optimize images, CSS, JavaScript, fonts, and other website assets.
- Troubleshoot layout, functionality, plugin, theme, and responsive issues.
- Maintain existing WordPress and Shopify client websites.
- Implement basic technical SEO requirements and SEO-friendly page structures.
- Test websites across different browsers and screen sizes before delivery.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers and other team members.
- Manage multiple client projects and deliver tasks within agreed deadlines.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2+ years of professional WordPress and Shopify development experience.
- Strong experience with Figma to WordPress development.
- Strong experience with Figma to Shopify development.
- Excellent knowledge of Elementor Pro.
- Good understanding of Shopify theme architecture and Liquid.
- Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive development skills.
- Working knowledge of PHP for WordPress customization.
- Ability to create pixel-accurate websites from Figma designs.
- Good understanding of responsive and mobile-first development.
- Experience with Shopify apps and WordPress plugins.
- Experience with website speed and performance optimization.
- Understanding of Git/version control is a plus.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and CRO is a plus.
What We Expect
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of assigned projects rather than requiring step-by-step instructions for every task.
You should be able to review a Figma design, understand the required functionality, identify potential development issues, and build a clean, responsive, production-ready website.
Attention to detail, communication, reliability, and meeting deadlines are extremely important.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
