Sapient Infra, based in Down Hill, Malappuram, Kerala, is a construction company undertaking government civil construction projects. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Site Engineer Trainee to join our team and gain practical experience in building construction and government projects in Ernakulam.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Site Engineer in supervising daily construction activities
- Support the execution of RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, and finishing works
- Assist in checking work as per approved drawings, specifications, and BOQ
- Learn to read and understand structural and architectural drawings
- Assist with site measurements, quantity calculations, and material requirements
- Monitor manpower, materials, and daily work progress under the guidance of senior engineers
- Assist in preparing daily progress reports and site documentation
- Coordinate with contractors, workers, supervisors, and other project staff
- Assist in maintaining quality and safety standards at the project site
- Learn government project procedures, measurements, documentation, and billing processes
- Report site issues to the Senior Engineer/Site Engineer and assist in finding solutions
- Gain practical knowledge of complete building construction activities from execution to completion
Requirements:
- Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Experience: Freshers / 0–1 year experience
- Strong interest in building construction and site engineering
- Basic knowledge of civil engineering concepts and construction practices
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office will be an advantage
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and work at construction sites
- Responsible, hardworking, and disciplined approach to work
- Willingness to work at project sites in Ernakulam
