In this role, you'll operate in multidisciplinary teams to help energy and commodity trading organizations solve complex business and technology challenges, shaping scalable solutions across trading, risk, operations, data, and technology. Complex ETRM implementation, upgrade, integration, migration, and optimization programs

You Bring:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, IT, Computer Science, technology, engineering, finance, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience will also be considered
3-7 years of relevant experience in ETRM consulting, implementation, application support, or commodity-trading technology
Consulting Skills
Strong consulting, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to convert complex business and technical challenges into practical, scalable solutions
Ability to build trusted client relationships, maintain momentum in complex delivery environments, respect confidentiality, and travel as required
Functional Knowledge
A strong understanding of the end-to-end energy and commodity trading lifecycle across front, middle, and back office
Knowledge of trade capture, valuation, positions, P&L, risk, scheduling, logistics, settlements, tax, and accounting
Experience preparing and executing functional, integration, regression, and user-acceptance testing, including reconciliation, controls, and production-readiness activities
Experience across one or more commodities, such as gas, power, LNG, crude, refined products, renewables, environmental products, agriculture, or metals
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills across applications, data, interfaces, and reporting
Confident and engaging communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to contribute to workshops, work independently, challenge requirements constructively, and deliver high-quality work with strong attention to detail

We Also Value:
Application Knowledge
Deep implementation expertise in at least one leading ETRM platform, with Openlink Endur strongly preferred, followed by RightAngle and Allegro
Exposure to additional platforms such as ENTRADE, Fusion or Beacon would be good to have.
Technical Skills
Practical experience with Java, C#, Python, or related technologies, along with working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and ETRM data models
Exposure to DevOps and ability to appreciate ETRM & related systems hosted across on-prem/cloud/hybrid setups; Nice to have – Cloud Foundations Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
Understanding of APIs, interfaces, batch processing, data migration, reporting, and ETRM configuration, customization, and extension frameworks
Experience working within Agile, hybrid, or traditional delivery methodologies
Understanding of source control, CI/CD, automated testing, and modern solution-delivery practices
The ability to understand and review technical designs, custom developments, and integration approaches
Relevant ETRM, Agile, cloud, or technical certifications
