The Property Manager is responsible for the overall management and smooth operation of the hotel property, including guest accommodation, facilities, staff coordination, maintenance, vendor management, budgeting, and compliance. The role ensures high standards of guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, safety, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the hotel property and accommodation facilities.
- Ensure rooms, common areas, amenities, and facilities are maintained to high standards.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, front office, security, and other operational teams.
- Monitor room readiness, cleanliness, repairs, preventive maintenance, and property standards.
- Handle guest complaints, requests, and escalations professionally and promptly.
- Manage vendors, contractors, service providers, and maintenance agencies.
- Negotiate and monitor vendor contracts, service quality, and costs.
- Prepare and monitor property budgets, operating expenses, and maintenance costs.
- Ensure proper collection, billing, documentation, and financial controls.
- Conduct regular property inspections and identify areas requiring improvement.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, statutory requirements, health and safety regulations, and local authorities.
- Maintain records relating to property assets, inventory, maintenance, contracts, and licenses.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Manage staff performance, duty allocation, attendance, training, and discipline.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for property operations.
- Monitor occupancy, room revenue, operational costs, and key performance indicators.
- Support sales and marketing initiatives to improve occupancy and profitability.
- Ensure adequate security arrangements and emergency procedures are in place.
- Coordinate with management for renovations, upgrades, and capital expenditure projects.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management.
- Ensure excellent guest experience and maintain the hotel's brand and service standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in hotel, serviced apartment, resort, or property management.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
- Good financial, budgeting, vendor-management, and administrative skills.
- Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office and hotel/property management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when required.
Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
