Job Summary
The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales growth of biochemicals, research reagents, laboratory consumables, and equipment across academic institutions, hospitals, pharma companies, CROs, and research laboratories. The role requires field sales, relationship management, technical coordination, and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Revenue Generation
- Promote and sell biochemicals, reagents, kits, lab consumables, and equipment.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Visit universities, research institutes, hospitals, pharma companies, and biotech firms.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Follow up on quotations, negotiations, and order closures.
- Coordinate with purchase departments and lab managers.
3. Market Development
- Identify new territories and channel partners.
- Appoint and manage local distributors (if applicable).
- Conduct competitor analysis and pricing strategy inputs.
- Gather market intelligence on tenders and institutional procurement.
4. Technical Coordination
- Understand basic applications of ELISA kits, antibodies, chemicals, instruments, etc.
- Coordinate with technical support teams for product queries.
- Assist customers in product selection.
5. Reporting & CRM
- Maintain daily visit reports and sales pipeline.
- Update CRM with leads, quotations, and order status.
- Submit weekly and monthly sales reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
- MBA (Marketing) is an added advantage.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Willingness for field travel.
- Basic knowledge of lab reagents and equipment preferred.

Compensation Structure (Typical India Market)
- Fixed Salary: ₹2.5 – ₹4 LPA (depending on experience)
- Performance Incentives: Monthly / Quarterly
- Travel + Mobile Reimbursement

Pay: ₹12,486.84 - ₹30,000.00 per month
