Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Web Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of web design principles, UI/UX basics, and responsive design. You will work closely with developers and the design team to create visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop visually appealing website layouts and web pages.
- Create responsive designs compatible with desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Convert design concepts into clean and user-friendly web interfaces.
- Work with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript to implement designs.
- Create and edit graphics, banners, icons, and other web assets.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Maintain consistency in colors, typography, spacing, and overall brand guidelines.
- Improve existing website designs based on feedback and usability requirements.
- Stay updated with current web design and UI/UX trends.
Required Skills
- 6 months to 1.5 years of experience in web designing.
- Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript and responsive web design.
- Familiarity with Figma, Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe XD.
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles.
- Knowledge of cross-browser and mobile-responsive design.
- Good understanding of typography, colors, layouts, and visual hierarchy.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Good to Have
- Basic knowledge of Bootstrap or other CSS frameworks.
- Experience working with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
- Basic understanding of SEO-friendly web design.
- Familiarity with design systems and reusable UI components.
Education
Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
