About the Role
L&T Technology Services is looking for an experienced Ignition Engineer to design, develop, and support SCADA/MES solutions for manufacturing and industrial automation projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Ignition Platform, PLC/SCADA systems, SQL databases, and industrial communication protocols.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement SCADA/MES applications using the Ignition platform.
* Configure Ignition Vision and Perspective modules.
* Design and maintain PLC and SCADA applications.
* Work with SQL and Historian databases.
* Develop basic Python scripts where required.
* Configure industrial communication protocols including MQTT, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, and Profibus.
* Troubleshoot application issues and provide technical support.
* Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
* Travel to customer sites when required.
Required Skills
* 3-7 years of experience in industrial automation or SCADA/MES development.
* Strong knowledge of Ignition Platform.
* Experience with PLC and SCADA systems.
* Working knowledge of SQL databases.
* Basic Python programming skills.
* Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
