Job Summary
MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Solapur is seeking a passionate and dedicated TGT Biology Teacher to deliver engaging and effective Biology education in accordance with CBSE curriculum standards. The candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire scientific curiosity among students.
Preference
Local candidates will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Biology and General Science to middle school students as per CBSE guidelines.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and laboratory activities.
- Encourage scientific thinking, observation, and analytical skills among students.
- Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in school activities, parent meetings, and academic events.
- Maintain academic records and ensure timely submission of reports.
- Utilize modern teaching methodologies and digital learning tools.
Required Qualification
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Biology, Zoology, Botany, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in CBSE/ICSE schools preferred.
- Freshers with excellent subject knowledge and communication skills may also apply.
Skills Required
- Strong command of Biology concepts and laboratory practices.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to engage students through practical and activity-based learning.
- Basic computer knowledge and smart classroom handling skills.
