Automation Studio™: design and simulation of fluid power and industrial automation technologies;
- Automation Studio™ Live Manifold: design, quoting and prototyping of hydraulic manifold blocs;
- Andon Studio™: real-time monitoring of machine productivity, optimizing operations and managing work processes, in line with Industry 4.0.
We are currently looking for dynamic and motivating individuals to fill the position of Software Designer.
Main responsabilities
- Participate in defining needs and specifications of software requirements;
- Write and / or validate design specifications;
- Develop prototypes for concept validation purposes;
- Implement selected solutions (programming);
- Develop unit tests of software components and integration tests;
- Comply with the procedures, processes and the quality management system of the company.
General Qualifications
- Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent;
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in software development;
- Master object-oriented development;
- Master Microsoft .NET environment and C #;
- Experience in C ++ and / or Java would be an asset;
- Good knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, UML);
- Good communication skills in English.
Specific Qualifications
Fluency in English and/or other foreign languages is a requirement for this position, because the related responsibilities concern markets mainly outside Quebec, or because the person could be called upon to communicate with staff located in the other divisions of the company located abroad.
