Scada Engineer
Location: Kharadi, Pune

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain HMI/SCADA applications for industrial automation systems.
- Integrate field devices including PLCs, sensors, actuators, valves, and RTUs with SCADA systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and Profinet.
- Integrate SCADA systems with enterprise applications such as MES, ERP, and other IT/OT platforms.
- Perform system commissioning, testing, validation, and on-site troubleshooting during deployment.
- Diagnose and resolve communication failures, software issues, and system performance problems.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of SCADA systems to ensure high system availability.
- Implement SCADA security best practices to safeguard industrial control systems from cyber threats.
- Prepare technical documentation including system architecture, configuration documents, operating procedures, and test reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including automation, instrumentation, electrical, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Support system upgrades, migrations, and enhancement projects while minimizing production downtime.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8–12 years of experience in SCADA engineering, industrial automation, or process control systems.
- Hands-on experience with Honeywell and Siemens SCADA/HMI platforms.
Strong understanding of industrial automation systems, PLCs, HMIs, RTUs, and DCS architectures.
- Experience configuring industrial communication protocols including Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and Profinet.
- Knowledge of SCADA integration with MES, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of industrial cybersecurity concepts and best practices.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative project environment.
