Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Garment Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations in our garment manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and meeting delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage daily garment production activities on the shop floor.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per planning and schedules.
- Monitor stitching, finishing, and quality processes to maintain standards.
- Coordinate with cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing departments.
- Identify and resolve production issues to avoid delays.
- Maintain discipline, productivity, and workflow efficiency among workers.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower and machines.
- Implement quality control measures to minimize defects and rework.
- Maintain production reports, MIS, and daily output records.
- Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance on the production floor.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in garment production supervision.
- Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes (cutting, stitching, finishing).
- Ability to handle workforce and manage shop floor operations.
- Good understanding of quality standards and production planning.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel, reporting).
- Diploma/Degree in Textile or Garment Technology preferred.
