Creative Video Editor for YouTube Facts Channel (Part-Time / Freelance)
We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who can produce engaging, fast-paced videos for a YouTube facts channel. The ideal candidate should understand YouTube storytelling, pacing, and audience retention, and be able to turn scripts and raw clips into visually compelling videos.
Responsibilities:
Edit YouTube videos focused on interesting facts, history, and informative content
Add engaging visuals, stock footage, animations, subtitles, and sound effects
Create smooth transitions and fast-paced edits to maintain viewer attention
Add background music, motion graphics, and visual elements to enhance storytelling
Ensure videos are optimized for YouTube audience engagement and retention
Deliver videos within deadlines
Requirements:
Experience editing videos for YouTube or social media platforms
Good understanding of storytelling, pacing, and viewer engagement
Knowledge of video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
Ability to add subtitles, sound effects, and basic motion graphics
Creative mindset and attention to detail
Portfolio or sample work required
Preferred:
Experience editing YouTube facts, educational, or documentary-style videos
Basic knowledge of YouTube trends and audience behavior
Freshers with knowledge are also welcome
