Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the overall operations, business performance, and team management of the fitness centre. The General Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing departments, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high operational standards to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall day-to-day operations of the fitness centre.
- Lead and supervise departments including sales, marketing, fitness, operations, and customer service.
- Develop and implement business strategies to increase revenue and membership growth.
- Monitor sales targets, operational performance, and profitability.
- Ensure exceptional member experience and high customer satisfaction.
- Recruit, train, and manage staff performance across departments.
- Prepare operational reports, budgets, and business performance analysis.
- Handle escalated customer issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and business development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, corporate clients, and business partners.
- Identify opportunities for business expansion and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field.
- MBA or equivalent management qualification preferred.
- Strong understanding of fitness industry operations and customer service management.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 8–15 years of overall professional experience.
- At least 5–8 years of management or leadership experience in fitness, wellness, hospitality, retail, or service industry.
- Proven experience in operations management, team leadership, sales management, and business development.
- Experience managing multiple departments and large operational teams preferred.
