We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Site Accountant to manage the financial and accounting activities at our road/highway construction project sites. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in construction accounting, site-level financial operations, vendor payments, and project cost monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting records and site financial transactions.
- Manage petty cash, cash flow, and site expenses.
- Process vendor, subcontractor, and supplier bills and maintain payment records.
- Prepare and verify purchase bills, invoices, and material-related documents.
- Monitor project costs and maintain accurate cost records.
- Handle employee advances, reimbursements, and labor payment records.
- Maintain stock, material consumption, and inventory records in coordination with the store department.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management.
- Reconcile bank statements, cash books, and ledger accounts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with the Head Office finance team for timely reporting and documentation.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents, vouchers, and supporting records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or equivalent.
- 3–6 years of experience as a Site Accountant in Road Construction, Highway Construction, or Infrastructure Projects.
- Strong knowledge of site accounting, project accounting, and construction billing.
- Experience in handling vendor payments, petty cash, labor payments, and material accounting.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel, and Microsoft Office.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹41,869.31 per month
