Redfox Cybersecurity is a cybersecurity company focused on offensive security, penetration testing, adversary simulation, cybersecurity training, and innovative security solutions.
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer – Product Development to join our team and contribute to the development of Redfox's products, platforms, internal tools, and technology initiatives.
This is a hands-on role for a developer who enjoys building software from the ground up and is comfortable working across the frontend, backend, APIs, databases, integrations, and deployment infrastructure.
You will work with different members of the team to understand requirements, develop solutions, integrate new technologies, and continuously improve Redfox's products and internal systems.
The ideal candidate is someone who can take a requirement from concept → architecture → development → integration → testing → deployment → continuous improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesFull Stack Development
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable web applications and software solutions.
- Work across both frontend and backend development to build complete product features.
- Develop reusable, maintainable, and scalable application components.
- Translate business and technical requirements into functional and reliable software solutions.
- Take ownership of features across the frontend, backend, database, APIs, and deployment layers.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and continuously improve existing applications and systems.
- Contribute to multiple products, platforms, internal tools, and technology initiatives based on business requirements.
Frontend Development
- Develop modern, responsive, and intuitive web interfaces using contemporary frontend technologies and frameworks.
- Build dashboards, management interfaces, operational views, and user-facing product features.
- Develop reusable UI components and maintain consistent application experiences.
- Implement search, filtering, sorting, navigation, forms, data visualizations, and interactive functionality.
- Implement real-time updates, notifications, and dynamic interfaces where required.
- Optimize frontend applications for performance, scalability, accessibility, and reliability.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure frontend functionality aligns with product and technical requirements.
Backend & API Development
- Design and develop scalable backend services and REST APIs.
- Build application logic, services, integrations, and supporting infrastructure.
- Design appropriate data models and database schemas.
- Develop background jobs, queues, scheduled tasks, and asynchronous processing where required.
- Build reliable communication between frontend applications, backend services, databases, and external systems.
- Implement appropriate authentication, authorization, validation, error handling, and security controls.
- Optimize backend services for performance, scalability, and reliability.
AI & Emerging Technology Integration
- Work closely with the AI Engineer and other members of the team to integrate AI capabilities and other emerging technologies into relevant products and tools.
- Integrate AI-powered functionality, APIs, models, and services into applications where required.
- Build the application and service interfaces required to consume AI capabilities effectively.
- Collaborate with AI Engineers to define APIs, data structures, integration requirements, and technical interfaces.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies that can provide meaningful value to Redfox's products and internal capabilities.
- Contribute to experimentation, prototyping, and productionisation of new technology initiatives.
Database & Data Management
- Design, develop, and maintain database schemas and data models.
- Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or equivalent.
- Implement efficient data access patterns and optimize database queries.
- Implement appropriate indexing, caching, pagination, and data-management strategies.
- Ensure data consistency, integrity, and reliability across applications.
- Design appropriate storage solutions for application data, documents, files, and other assets.
Integrations
- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party APIs, platforms, and services.
- Build integrations with business and productivity platforms where required.
- Develop APIs that allow Redfox's products and internal systems to communicate with other applications.
- Implement appropriate authentication, authorization, error handling, logging, and retry mechanisms.
- Evaluate third-party technologies and services and integrate them where appropriate.
Real-Time Applications
- Implement real-time functionality using WebSockets, SSE, or equivalent technologies where required.
- Develop live dashboards, status updates, notifications, and event-driven interfaces.
- Handle connection management, reconnection, and failure scenarios.
- Ensure real-time functionality remains reliable and scalable.
Security & Application Development
- Follow secure software development practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Apply appropriate RBAC and access-control principles where required.
- Protect sensitive application and customer data.
- Identify and address application security issues and vulnerabilities.
- Work with the cybersecurity team to maintain appropriate security standards across applications and platforms.
Deployment & DevOps
- Containerize applications and services using Docker.
- Work with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage development, staging, and production environments.
- Implement application monitoring, logging, error tracking, and observability.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve application reliability and performance.
- Contribute to deployment and infrastructure decisions as applications scale.
Product Development & Collaboration
- Work with product and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into practical solutions.
- Participate in architecture, design, and technical discussions.
- Rapidly prototype ideas and take successful concepts through production.
- Collaborate with AI Engineers, cybersecurity professionals, designers, and other developers.
- Research new technologies and evaluate their practical applicability to Redfox.
- Contribute to technical documentation and development standards.
- Continuously improve existing products, applications, and internal systems.
RequirementsMust Have
- 2–3+ years of hands-on experience in Full Stack Development or Software Engineering.
- Strong programming experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Python, Node.js, or equivalent backend technologies.
- Strong experience building modern web applications and backend services.
- Experience with a modern frontend framework such as React, Next.js, Angular, Vue.js, or equivalent.
- Strong backend development experience using Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or equivalent technologies.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture.
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or equivalent.
- Experience with WebSockets or other real-time communication technologies.
- Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, testing, debugging, and production deployments.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, API security, and secure application development.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering best practices.
- Ability to work effectively with different technical teams and adapt to evolving project requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a product-oriented mindset.
Strongly Preferred
- Experience building AI-integrated applications.
- Experience integrating LLM APIs, AI agents, RAG systems, or AI services into applications.
- Experience with real-time applications using WebSockets, SSE, or similar technologies.

- Experience with cloud-native architectures and microservices.
- Experience with message queues, background workers, asynchronous processing, or event-driven architectures.
