Salary
₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Based on qualifications, skills & experience)
2. Role Summary
We are seeking a Quality Control Executive to perform inspection, testing, verification and documentation activities to ensure products meet specified quality requirements. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of product quality in a regulated manufacturing environment.
3. Key Responsibilities
Ø Perform incoming, in-process and final inspection of components, sub-assemblies and finished products as per approved inspection procedures.
Ø Verify product dimensions, workmanship, functionality and compliance with engineering drawings, specifications and acceptance criteria.
Ø Perform electrical, mechanical and functional inspections using approved measuring and test equipment.
Ø Identify, document and report non-conforming materials or products and support corrective actions.
Ø Maintain inspection records, quality documentation and product traceability in accordance with established procedures.
Ø Ensure measuring and test equipment are used appropriately and report calibration due dates or equipment abnormalities.
Ø Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Stores and Purchase teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Ø Ensure compliance with quality requirements, safety practices and ISO procedures.
4. Technical Skills & Competencies
Ø Basic knowledge of quality control and inspection techniques.
Ø Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications and inspection criteria.
Ø Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, multi-meters etc.
Ø Basic understanding of dimensional inspection, functional testing and visual inspection.
Ø Knowledge of non-conformance reporting (NCR) and inspection documentation.
Ø Good analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills.
Ø Knowledge of ISO 13485, IEC 60601, Good Documentation Practices, 5S, or regulated manufacturing environments will be an advantage.
5. Preferred Industry Experience
Candidates with experience in Medical Device Manufacturing will be given preference. Experience in Electronics Manufacturing, Precision Engineering, Industrial Equipment Manufacturing, Automation, Aerospace, Automotive or other regulated manufacturing industries will also be considered.
6. Candidate Profile
Ø Diploma holder in a relevant engineering discipline.
