Hiring CNC Machine Application Engineer responsible for process planning, machining application development, CNC programming support, cycle time optimization, tooling selection, machine prove-outs, and customer technical support to ensure high productivity, quality, and machine performance.
Key Responsibilities:
CNC Programming & Applications
- Develop & optimize CNC programs (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi / Syntec / Haas / Mazatrol)
- Create machining strategies for turning, milling, turn-mill & multi-axis
- Optimize cycle time, tool life, accuracy & surface finish
- Support CAM programming (Mastercam / NX / Fusion 360 / SolidCAM)
Process Planning & Tooling
- Define machining process flow from component drawings
- Select tools, inserts, fixtures & gauges
- Prepare process sheets, tool lists & setup sheets
Machine Prove-out & Trials
- Conduct job & machine prove-outs
- Ensure first-off approval, accuracy & quality
- Reduce setup time, rejection & rework
- Support PPAP / FAI
Customer Technical Support
- Support machine installation, job prove-outs & optimization
- Provide demos, training & machining solutions
- Troubleshoot customer machining issues
Cross-functional Coordination
- Work with design, R&D, production, quality, service & sales
- Provide technical inputs for machine selection & proposals
Technical Skills Required:
- CNC Turning Centers, VMC, HMC, Turn-Mill, Multi-axis
- G-code programming & CAM software
- Tooling, fixtures, cutting parameters
- GD&T, metrology, metallurgical & machinability knowledge
Qualification:
Diploma / BE / BTech – Mechanical / Production / Mechatronics
