Job Summary
Oberon Overseas Education & Migration is looking for a dynamic and target-oriented Student Counsellor to guide students through their overseas education journey. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a passion for counselling, and the ability to achieve admissions and enrolment targets. Job Responsibilities
- Counsel students on study abroad opportunities in countries such as the UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, and other destinations.
- Understand students' academic backgrounds and career goals to recommend suitable courses and universities.
- Follow up with prospective students through calls, WhatsApp, email, and in-person meetings.
- Convert enquiries into admissions by providing accurate guidance and timely follow-ups.
- Maintain strong relationships with students throughout the admission process.
- Meet monthly counselling and admission targets.
- Coordinate with the admissions and documentation team for smooth application processing.
- Maintain student records and update CRM/software regularly.
- Participate in educational events, seminars, and promotional activities when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Experience in study abroad counselling is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, email, CRM).
- Strong sales and counselling abilities.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
