Senior Accountant (Remote)
Full time, India
Join BCD Group as a Senior Accountant, where you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of financial records across assigned entities. The role is responsible for supporting Record-to-Report activities, maintaining balance sheet integrity, and contributing to timely and reliable financial reporting across EMEA entities. Working within an international finance environment, you will collaborate closely with regional Finance teams and operational stakeholders to support efficient month-end close processes and strong financial governance. You will play a key role in ensuring VAT, indirect tax, statutory compliance, and audit activities are delivered effectively across the region.
As a Senior Accountant, you will
Prepare and post general ledger journals in line with accounting policies and reporting requirements
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of general ledger and balance sheet accounts across assigned entities
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
Support accurate and timely month-end and year-end close activities in line with global reporting timelines
Manage accruals, prepayments, and other period-end adjustments
Support VAT, indirect tax, and statutory compliance activities across the region
Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances
Support internal and external audit activities through provision of documentation and analysis
Communicate confidently with global stakeholders across functions
Execute Record-to-Report activities including journal processing, ledger maintenance, and financial data validation
Ensure balance sheet integrity through regular review and reconciliation of accounts
Support statutory and management reporting processes across assigned entities within the region
Monitor and resolve open balance sheet items in a timely manner
Collaborate with Shared Service teams to ensure consistent accounting practices and strong financial governance
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and finance standardization
About you
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Strong understanding of IFRS and/or local GAAP principles
Experience working within multinational or Shared Service environments
Strong experience working with SAP
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced Excel skills
Experience within service-based, travel, or events industries is advantageous
