A Junior HR Recruiter assists in the recruitment process by sourcing, screening, and engaging candidates, posting job openings, and supporting the HR team with administrative tasks, ensuring a positive candidate experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Attracting Candidates:
- Post job openings on various platforms (job boards, social media, company website).
- Utilize recruitment software and databases to find potential candidates.
- Attend job fairs and recruitment events.
- Network to identify and engage with passive candidates.
- Candidate Screening and Management:
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial phone screenings and schedule interviews.
- Maintain and update candidate databases and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Manage candidate communication throughout the hiring process.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist with drafting job descriptions and posting job openings.
- Prepare and send out offer letters and other recruitment-related documentation.
- Handle paperwork and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Ensuring a Positive Candidate Experience:
- Provide timely and accurate feedback to candidates.
- Address candidate inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Ensure a smooth and positive experience for all candidates.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and requirements.
- Collaborate with other HR team members to streamline the recruitment process.
- Provide support to HR managers and recruiters.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to screen resumes and assess candidate qualifications.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and ATS.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is often preferred.
- Experience in a similar role or internship is a plus.
