- Production & Workflow Management: Develop and execute daily or weekly baking schedules to meet sales demands. Oversee scaling, mixing, proofing, baking, and packaging operations. [1, 2, 3]
- Quality & Safety Control: Enforce rigid compliance with food safety and sanitation standards such as HACCP, GMP, and local health regulations. Conduct quality checks for taste, texture, weight, and shelf-life. [1, 2]
- Inventory & Cost Control: Monitor raw material and packaging inventory, place vendor orders, minimize waste, and track batch costs to maximize profit margins. [1, 2]
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise bakers and production staff. Manage shift scheduling, monitor performance, and foster a safe working environment. [1, 2]
- Recipe & Product Development: Assist in standardizing recipes, developing new SKUs, and improving yield percentages. [1]
