Job Title / Designation: Engineer (Welding Section)
Department: Production, Gr Noida
Brief Description: We are seeking experienced Engineer for our Welding Section for our Gr Noida plant. This role requires coordination of Welding process as per Standards in the Automotive/Indian Railways industry.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and approving NDT procedures for UT, PT, MT and VT.
- Define weld visual check with respect to applicable standard and acceptance level.
- Training related to weld visual, welding figure/symbol to team members.
- Conduct in-process Welding inspections to ensure compliance with technical specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with Production & Quality teams to implement corrective actions for quality issues identified during inspections.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of non-conformities and corrective actions taken.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence of quality issues in Welding section.
Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. CSWIP 3.1 Welding Certification is mandatory for this position.
Experience:
- Should have 2+ years of experience in Welding Section.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and quality control methodologies.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment for inspection during production.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
