Direct a team of housekeeping staff and janitors to maintain strict standard of disinfection, hygiene, cleanliness in a 25-bed hospice (end-of-life cancer care facility) located in Raiwala, Rishikesh. Team-level supervisory, leadership, and monitoring role, and adherence to national and international-level standardisation, including NABH-standardisation.
Hospital and top-notch hospitality experience of 2-years necessary.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF HOSPICE HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO)
-Supervise housekeeping, sanitation, gardening staff and assign tasks;
- Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation and disinfection standards in the entire facility, as per NABH and international protocol;
- Ensure rooms, public areas, patient-care rooms, toilets, sluice room, housekeeping bay, offices, storage, outdoor areas, STP are clean, tidy and hygienic;
- Change bed linen, replace towels, and replenish patient-care and general area amenities;
- Create and maintain laundry disinfection protocol;
- Ensure rooms are scientifically sanitized and ready before patient admission, and immediately after patient discharge;
- Ensure biomedical waste management protocol adherence and maintain records;
- Assist patients and caregivers politely when required and respond to housekeeping requests promptly;
- Report maintenance issues, lost & found items, or damages to the admin management/nursing incharge;
- Maintain high-level of cleanliness and disinfection in kitchen and dining area;
- Ensure high level of environment-friendliness in operations, waste disposal, waste minimization;
- Make the hospice a zero-waste facility;
- Train housekeeping and sanitation staff;
- Check each patient care area and general area amenity according to a check-list, enter findings in MIS sheet.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
