Job Summary
Malabar Marketing is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead sales growth, expand our dealer and distributor network, and strengthen customer relationships across the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent leadership abilities, and experience in the plumbing, sanitaryware, building materials, or related industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Identify, approach, and onboard new dealers, distributors, retailers, and project customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular market visits to understand customer requirements, industry trends, and competitor activities.
- Lead sales negotiations and successfully close business opportunities.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare regular sales reports for management.
- Coordinate with management regarding inventory planning and product demand forecasting.
- Promote new product launches, offers, and marketing campaigns in the market.
- Train, guide, and support sales representatives and field staff when required.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and outstanding receivables from customers.
- Represent the company professionally and maintain a strong market presence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–7 years of sales experience.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and basic reporting tools.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Valid driving license preferred.
