A Waiter (Food & Beverage Service Associate) is responsible for providing excellent customer service by serving food and beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome guests and escort them to their tables.
Present menus and explain dishes, beverages, and daily specials.
Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
Check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction.
Clear and reset tables according to hygiene and service standards.
Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely service.
Handle guest requests and complaints politely, escalating issues when necessary.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, service stations, and equipment.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and company SOPs.
Assist with opening and closing duties, including stocking service stations and preparing the restaurant for service.
Qualifications:
High school or hotel management qualification preferred.
0–2 years of experience in a restaurant, café, or hotel (freshers may also apply).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic English and Malayalam; knowledge of Hindi is an added advantage.
Positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to work flexible shifts.
