Job Description
We are seeking a Trainee – Inward Entry to support stores and inventory operations by accurately recording inward materials and maintaining related documentation. The candidate should possess good computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with various departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inward entry of materials and goods received in the system/register.
- Prepare and maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and inward records.
- Verify received materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Maintain accurate records of stock receipts and related documents.
- Coordinate with Stores, Purchase, Warehouse, and Accounts departments.
- Update inventory data in Excel, ERP, or inventory management software.
- File and maintain inward registers and supporting documents.
- Ensure timely and error-free data entry.
- Assist in stock verification and inventory audits.
- Follow company procedures and documentation practices.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and computer applications.
- Good data entry and record-keeping skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to learn ERP or inventory management software.
- Basic understanding of stores and inventory processes will be an added advantage.
