Job Description
HCN News is hiring passionate and active Field Reporters across Uttar Pradesh for ground reporting, political coverage, public issues, and breaking news stories.
The candidate should be comfortable with field reporting, public interaction, and mobile journalism. Freshers with confidence and communication skills are also welcome.
Responsibilities
- Cover local news and current affairs from the field
- Conduct public interviews and vox pop videos
- Report on politics, civic issues, crime, and public-interest stories
- Shoot basic video footage using mobile phone/camera
- Send timely updates and reports to the editorial team
- Coordinate with newsroom for assignments and breaking news
Requirements
- Good Hindi communication skills
- Interest in journalism and reporting
- Comfortable with field work and travel
- Smartphone required
- Basic video shooting/editing knowledge preferred
- Freshers and experienced candidates can apply
