Job Summary
Raksan Transformers Limited is an NCR based leading manufacturer of high-quality power and distribution and Inverter Duty transformers, are looking for a dedicated and result-oriented Production Engineers – Fabrication to supervise day-to-day fabrication activities and ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality and safety standards. The candidate should have hands-on experience in fabrication operations and be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily fabrication line activities to ensure smooth production.
- Allocate work to operators and monitor manpower utilization.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and ensure fabrication is carried out as per specifications.
- Monitor welding, cutting, bending, drilling, and assembly operations.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within the planned schedule.
- Maintain product quality as per company standards.
- Coordinate with the Quality, Planning, and Maintenance departments.
- Ensure proper use of machines, tools, and measuring instruments.
- Implement and monitor 5S, safety practices, and housekeeping on the shop floor.
- Maintain daily production reports and monitor material consumption.
- Identify production issues and take corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of engineering drawing reading and interpretation.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, sheet metal, and structural fabrication.
- Understanding of production planning and quality control.
- Good leadership and team-handling skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in the fabrication department of a Transformer, Electrical Equipment, Heavy Engineering, or Manufacturing company will be preferred.
