Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Oracle Production DBA with 4 to 5 years of experience to manage and maintain our mission-critical database systems. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security across Oracle RAC and Data Guard environments, while handling routine patching, RMAN backups, and performance tuning.
Key Responsibilities
- High Availability: Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Oracle RAC and Data Guard (Physical/Logical Standby), including failover/switchover drills.
- Backup & Recovery: Manage backup strategies, restores, and disaster recovery using RMAN and Data Pump.
- Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot performance issues using AWR, ASH, and ADDM reports; perform SQL and system-level tuning.
- Maintenance & Patching: Apply Oracle Release Updates (RUs/PSUs), one-off patches, and Grid Infrastructure updates with minimal downtime.
- Storage & Admin: Manage Oracle ASM, disk groups, tablespaces, user security, and monitoring.
Key Requirements
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Production DBA (Oracle 12c/19c).
- Strong expertise in RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, and Patching.
- Proven skill in analyzing AWR, ASH, and ADDM for bottleneck identification.
- Proficient in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
- Strong troubleshooting skills under production pressure.
Preferred: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)
Pay: ₹350,979.15 - ₹1,067,827.33 per year
